Akrestrommen
Tent was leaking again. I needed the warm jacket and mittens leaving the pass. Was a wet day and did not mind spending a bit of time in the Koppang library catching up with the blog and email. Then it was another late afternoon heading up a pass. Heading up the last pass in I was going to do in Norway I see that it is 8% grade then they went for 12%. Not good signs. The climb was short and not to bad as the pass was not much they need signs to impress. Midges were thick. New bug spray did not help the legs as I race to setup camp. Missed putting the cover on the bike seat, but did not want to go back out into the thousands that were out there. Did spray some of the bug spray on the screen of the tent and it killed hundreds. Need to figure out what is in the bug spray to find out how toxic it is.
7/14/10
55.2 mile 5:19 hr / max speed 30.7 / avg moving speed 10.4 / stopped time 3:09 / 2441 ft total ascent. (Rain and fog when in the morning. Needed the mittens. Wind is in my face.)
Love & kisses
Steve
