With a tail wind behind me I headed north. Had a good bit of traffic and had to take some scenic routes as bikes were not allowed through the main tunnel. Did get to go through some old tunnels where there was not much traffic on the scenic route. Lost my padlock as I was trying to outrun the midges setting up the tent and I did not lock the panniers when I left as I was once again trying to not feed the wildlife.

Hi Steve, I just had a quick look at your blog, and will do later some good reading and marvel at the pictures, bit for now: fantastic! Especially the tent at lonely ground. Whow!!! Looks so fantastic...
