We planned on going to the coast today. Over breakfast
the idea came up that I could go to the mountains. Look like 80k from the
map. Cindy headed for the coast. Leaving town saw that Tafraoute
was only 107k. Decide to pickup the pace in the low land hills. At
the anti atlas the road did go up decidedly. But it was not bad and the
road was wide. Last time in morocco driving over the mountains the roads
were narrow and passing always required going onto the shoulder of the winding
road. With 40k to go I got my narrow mountain road. I was only
chased off the road twice. Only one more pass and I am at Tafraoute.
