Chiang Mai

 As I rode past a dog it decide to bark and chase me.  Another dog came running across the road and smashed into the dog chasing me.  This cause it to yelp.  There was no fight.  My protector had solved my problem.  I rode on surprised at what just happened.
Wasted the morning trying to find a bank that did not charge fees.  So with a mid day start I pushed to Chiangmai .  20k south of Chiangmai I got off of highway one and was rewarded with a tree lined road.  All the trees were wrap with yellow or orange cloth

 I tried five of the guide books recommended guesthouses.  They were all full so I gave that method up and just choose from the 100 guesthouse available.
