Colombia 5-2-2023

 

Hotel did not have a room for second night.  Took a while to find a room for another night and ended up in the Tube Hotel.  Yes a drain tube for a room.  In the afternoon I headed out to northern desert.  I did run into a French family cycle touring with their three daughters.

Ride out the south desert and then return for our gear.  Then fast highway riding with a little climbing to Campoalegre.  Heat is still with us.

 

Another day of riding the highway and getting to Paicol

Short ride up to La Plata.  Work a little on the bikes changed rear brakes.
